Parking: On street, or contact us to reserve a space on the drive.
Public transport: X3, X13 and X2, all stop at the end of our road. It is about a 5 minute walk to the venue from the bus stop.
Level Access?
All visitors will access the space via the side gate on the right of the property.
Garden gallery:
Level access through narrow gateway (85cm max)
Wooden decking and ramp (1:12) to lawn area
Garden is wild and ramshackle.
Indoor gallery:
Accessed from garden via 5 steps (no handrail) and small step over the threshold.
Visitors with limited mobility and wheelchair users: invited to access indoor gallery space through front door; small step over threshold, and ground floor access from there on in.
Chairs available for resting as needed.
Gallery assistants/artists will be happy to help if asked.
Toilet: Ground floor toilet available if required, tight turning space.
Communication:
Clare is happy to converse in British Sign Language with visitors - artists who don’t sign are willing to find creative ways to communicate as best they can. We welcome and support diversity in communication. We also aim to be a dementia friendly space (although bear in mind the physical access outlined above)
Animals:
Assistance dogs welcome. There will be one resident calm and friendly dog (Bonny). Please contact us in advance if you have worries about dogs and we will make sure dogs are housed indoors and out of the way during your visit.
Quiet times:
Weekdays are usually quieter than weekends.
Due to COVID guidelines we will have a maximum capacity of 6 on 15th and 16th May, and a maximum of 30 on site after that. This year, we encourage you to book your slot ahead of time to ensure we keep below our maximum capacity. Link below.
On Saturday 22nd May 2-4, we have live jazz in the garden. We expect to be at full capacity that afternoon.
